Classroom Procedures:
Morning: promptly enter the classroom, empty your backpack, and hang it on your hook in the closet. Prepare yourself for your day and settle yourself for a day of learning.
Switching classrooms: lineup in an orderly fashion and move silently in the hallway. PLEASE make sure you have all your necessary items for Ms. Boberick's or any specials classroom.
During class: enter and immediately move to your assigned seat. Every day we will start with an opener/warmup to kickstart class. Please be prepared to do so. Homework will be handed in the following day directly to me and will be left on the edge of your desk for collection.
End of day: before packing up your school bag, please copy down your homework, collect any mail from your student mailbox, and then proceed to pack. Please remain in your seat and keep a low volume until dismissal.
Expectations:
- Give it your all!Take pride in your work and never hesitate to ask questions or for help
- Be prepared for class with all materials needed for that subject
- You must have a book with you in the event work is finished early
- Complete assignments
- Treat all teachers, faculty, and peers with kindness,respect, and honesty
- Maintain an organized and clean desk to keep our classroom looking great
Grading/Homework Policy:
Grades will be broken into 4 parts: Assessments 40%, Quizzes 25%, Homework 20% (Wednesday Card will be a weekly HW), Participation 15%
Participation has more than just actively participating in class. It also includes being prepared for class, limiting the need to leave the classroom during instruction time, and behavior.
Homework is expected to be completed on time. Failure to do so will result in a loss of points/credit. On-time: full credit. Late: Half credit
All collected homework assignments will be graded.
Homework will be posted on the classroom board as well as the teacher webpage and OptionC
Effort is expected - homework must be completed thoughtfully
