St. Bernadette School, as approved by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and PA Dept. of Education, has implemented the following distance learning plan because of the emergency school closing due to the coronavirus and concern for the health and safety of our community. Students at St. Bernadette will continue to learn from home with distance learning assignments.
Guidelines:
Distance learning is in effect as of Monday, March 16th.
Since distance learning counts as a day of school, all work must be completed and handed in on time.
Grades 1-8 will be able to access work through the Distance Learning link that is located on left side menu under teacher pages. Look for the Assignment subpages labeled by grade. All work will be posted by 8:15AM. Students in grades Kindergarten through 4 grades have "Snow" folders at home which will be used on Monday, 3/16 and Tuesday, 3/17. Additional assignments will be posted under the teachers'pages.
Grades PreK and 1 have received a Distance Learning folder. Follow teacher directions for completing the work. Additional work will be sent home if the need arises.
Assignments need to be handed in at the direction of the teacher. Some work may be due before returning through online submission. Students are encouraged to email teachers with questions when needed.
6. Please email teachers with questions between the hours of 8:30am and 3:30pm.
7. Contact me with questions or concerns [email protected]
Thank you for your support and working with your child to complete any assignments from home during these distance learning days. Setting up guidelines ahead of time and a place for work is beneficial especially if the parent would need to leave for work.
