Week of Monday, Feb. 22nd:
Spring is right around the corner and Middle School is marching on together with kindness and curiosity! This week in Social Studies, sixth grade is learning about the the government of the European Union and Brexit. Seventh grade is reviewing the New England and Middle Colonies. Eighth grade is learning about the South under Reconstruction. In ELA, eighth grade is presenting their Vocab 7 "Time Warp" poems, stories, and scripts, then continuing to read the Outsiders and taking the Pronouns grammar test.
Starting the week of March 1st, seventh grade will be helping the eighth grade class raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand!
The first weeks of school, we discussed expectations for the classroom and academics as we reoriented ourselves to learning in our blended school community. View my Back-To-School slideshow for Grades 6, 7, and 8, posted below!
