In STREAM Mrs. Piel introduced the 3 Little Pigs Story. The children experienced the huff and puff of the wolf. They discussed how strong the straw, sticks, and bricks were in the story. The children worked in groups to build their house. Each group made 3 houses.

We reviewed numbers 1-7. The children counted the snowballs on the snowmen. they cut and colored.
We introduced number 8. We identified the number 8. We located the numbers 1-8 on the calendar. We counted 8 blocks. The children stamped 8 stars on the number 8.
We reviewed hibernating and migration.
