Our mission is to nurture the growth and development of each of our precious students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade within the framework of our faith-based learning environment. The early years of a child’s education are so important, not just for building a structure for academic excellence, but also for developing character and strong values.
We at St. Bernadette School–teachers and staff alike–strive to instill in our students opportunities to grow to his or her highest potential through daily instruction, actions, attitudes, and words. Our rigorous curriculum offers each student the chance to succeed and build up his or her self-esteem. We combine the best old-school traditions and values with progressive teaching methods and innovative technology, including STREAM education.
We are proud of our students’ many accomplishments. Our graduates are routinely accepted to the high schools of their choice, including Archdiocesan and private Catholic high schools. Over half of the students in the class of 2022 received academic scholarships to these private and Archdiocesan high schools.
St. Bernadette School recognizes the importance of a strong working relationship between home and school. It is this dynamic bond that allows parents, faculty, and administration to work closely together to enhance the educational experience for all students so that they can thrive spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically, and culturally.
As always, I remain committed to our mission, in a Christ-centered environment, with an open door policy. I welcome and respect your ideas and suggestions with an open heart and mind. Most importantly, I look forward to working together on behalf of St. Bernadette School's students and families in continuing the 75-year legacy of academic excellence and strong Christian values.
Peace,
Mrs. Joanne Montie
Principal
